The HBO Series Will Return On July, 16th 2017
The HBO series will return in two weeks on July 16th. It has been a little more than 1 year since Daenerys named Tyrion her Hand of the Queen and started sailing west towards Westeros. Will she rewrite history like her ancestor Aegon I Targaryen or will she realize that the true threat lurks north of the wall and help save humanity.
Where Did We Leave Off?
When the show ended last June we had a lot of our characters moving into place for the final conflict. Sam made it to Oldtown and is studying at the Citadel. Will he learn any information about The Long Night or how to beat the white walkers with dragonglass? Jon Snow was named King in the North by the Northern Lords and the Vale. This is great news and Jon will make a great king but now he has Littlefinger to deal with up at Winterfell. Cersei Lannister has taken control over King’s Landing after blowing up the Great Sept of Baelor and murdering her closest enemies. Dany has set sail for The Seven Kingdoms with her army made up of Unsullied, Dothraki, and some of the defeated great houses. Euron had to outsource his wood materials but finally he has all the wood he needs and will enter the story with his new fleet of Iron Islanders. Last but not least we got to witness Arya get some much needed revenge against the Frey’s for breaking guest rights and murdering her mother and brother.
Since the show has always diverged from the book, it will be interesting to see where Season 7 takes us and our favorite characters.
We also still have one unknown secret that George R.R. Martin revealed to Dan and David.
“People are talking about whether the books are going to be spoiled — and it’s really not true,” Benioff said. “So much of what we’re doing diverges from the books at this point. And while there are certain key elements that will be the same, we’re not going to talk so much about that — and I don’t think George is either. People are going to be very surprised when they read the books after the show. They’re quite divergent in so many respects for the remainder of the show.”

Lets hope they are right.
Some ‘Other’ Information About Season 7
- Season 7 will contain only 6 episodes. Season 1-6 would usually clock in at around 10 episodes but the producers have shortened it this season. The good news about this leaves no time for boring dialogue and each episode will have an enormous budget!
- The Dragons are huge! They must of ate a ton of sushi on the sail to Westeros. There has been some leaked footage and photo’s from Season 7 that shows the enormous size of Dany’s Dragons. It has been reported that most of these leaked images are only from the first episode so there will be a lot of new surprises.
- Sam the Slayer is rocking a new haircut!
